2000 Hand Night.

Tonight I was down again and ready to quit.  I pushed on not willing to quit when I hit my low point.  I was down 10.00 again.  I ended up being down a bit more before I gradually came back to being down by 4.00 when I quit after another 1000 hands.  That's a little less of a hit.  With rakeback I even showed a slight profit.

I felt more confident playing tonight after I hit my low point.  I relaxed and think I played correctly for the remainder of the session.  I hope I can keep playing like that, because I'm sure for the first time since I started playing NL, that I was playing the way I should.

  1. You replied to my comment in part:

My VPIP since March 1st, 20000 hands is 22.3. PFR is 10.72. Flop AFq is 46.12, Turn AFq is 45.58, River Afq is 49.39.

7900 hands in I am at 16/10 for my vpip and pfr. I am up $4.44 and the main reason it is not more is I am running bad with KK and QQ where my profits with KK are under $3 and under $2 with QQ. I know this is just a bad streak with those specific hands and it will turn. My point is full ring and 6max the same holds true tight is right although some may consider me a nit and if so I am fine with that as long as it produces profits over the long term.

With your numbers I would have you color coded purple semi-loose and aggressive and basically this means I am going to call more preflop raises against a type of player you are more so than I will a true TAG. Bottom line, you will have to fight for more pots against me than a 17/14 player would.

A few years ago 22% vpip was considered standard for 6max, but the online game and players have changed and I personally believe you need to tighten up. I am not saying 15 0r 16% like me as I admit I may be a little too tight if that is possible. Also your 22/10 is way too far from one another. Why are you limping so much in a 6 max game? Your postflop aggression factor looks respectable.

Finally after 20,000 hands have you done an in depth Poker Tracker review? I assume that's the software you have. If so set the filter to show 5 or 6 players positions from the button at 2-3 and raise first in and then look at the individual hands or groups of hands that your raising first in with in EP and see what percentage they are winning and how much. Do the same thing with button positions setat 0-1 this will show your raise first in hands from the CO and button. Do an in depth PT review and see where your losing money. If you want some more ideas of what kind of filters to check let me know, I am nothing if not obsessive about PT details. lol
